DeFi applications can support these assets in their liquidity pools to facilitate liquidity provision.
Once liquidity providers deposit these assets, the LP pool contract becomes the asset holder and begins accruing PoEL rewards. DApps that support the asset should implement a mechanism to periodically claim PoEL rewards and redistribute them to their liquidity providers, to prevent liquidity provision from resulting in forgone rewards for LPs.
